Del Monte (yes, the fruit folks!) is undergoing a simply wonderful project. It's call Teacher Monday: Cash for Classrooms.
Every Monday, for five consecutive weeks beginning October 18th, ten teachers in the U.S. and Canada will win $1,000 each ($750 in cash and $250 in fresh fruit gift certificates) in the “Teacher Monday: Cash for Classrooms” online contest. The cash is to help teachers purchase much needed school supplies. The fruit is for classroom snacks and to encourage educational activities about fruit and healthy eating choices.
To celebrate and promote this GREAT giving project, Del Monte is giving TWO readers $25 fresh fruit gift certificates. (US only please)
